Wild places, raised right.
The Colbert Camp Foundation owns and stewards rural Kansas land so that Scouts and other young people have a real, unhurried place to camp, learn, serve, and grow up outdoors.

What We Do
A camp built for character, conservation, and time outside.
We are organized and operated exclusively for charitable, educational, and recreational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Steward the Land
Owning, maintaining, and protecting acres of Kansas timber and prairie for the next generation of campers.
Host Youth Programs
A primary focus on Scouting America — campouts, service projects, leadership weekends, and outdoor skills.
Promote Stewardship
Teaching responsible land use, conservation, and environmental stewardship through hands-on time on the property.
See the Camp
A look at the property and the work behind it.
The Colbert Camp Foundation cares for a working tract of Kansas countryside — cleared meadows for tents and tables, trails through the cedars, a fire ring, and the tools and time it takes to keep all of that ready for the next troop to roll in.
Watch the short video for a feel for the place, then come help us keep it standing.

Every fence post, every cleared trail, every weekend the camp hosts a troop — it is funded by people who believe young people belong outside. Your tax-deductible gift goes directly to the maintenance fund.
